Counselling / Therapy

Life comes with challenges, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. Counselling offers a supportive space to navigate difficult emotions and cultivate resilience. Whether you’re feeling anxious, navigating grief, facing identity questions, or just need space to breathe and process, therapy can help. I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can talk freely, be heard without judgment, and start making sense of what’s going on. Together, we’ll explore the patterns holding you back and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Drawing from evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and psychodynamic therapy, sessions are tailored to your unique needs and goals.
You deserve support that truly fits you. Reach out today to book a free consultation or ask any questions.

Carer Support Sessions

Caring for a loved one can be both meaningful and deeply challenging. Whether you’re supporting someone through illness, disability, mental health concerns, or age-related changes, it’s common to feel overwhelmed, isolated, or exhausted. These sessions are a space just for you to process your experiences, explore the emotional toll of caregiving, and receive support without needing to “stay strong” for someone else. Together, we can look at what’s sustaining you, what’s draining you, and how to create more balance. I bring a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, grounded in both clinical experience and a deep respect for the complexity of caregiving.
You don’t have to do this alone. Reach out to book a session or find out how I can support you.
*A family member/carer can receive up to 2 sessions per calendar year. These carer sessions are eligible for a Medicare rebate and will count towards your 10 allocated sessions per calendar year under a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).

Group Therapy

Group therapy offers a unique space to connect with others who are navigating similar challenges. In a supportive, confidential setting, you’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences, gain new perspectives, and build practical skills. Whether the focus is grief, identity, anxiety, or relationship dynamics, groups are carefully facilitated to foster safety, respect, and meaningful connection.
You don’t need to have all the answers or say the right thing—just a willingness to show up as you are. Many people find that group work deepens their self-awareness and accelerates personal growth in ways individual therapy can’t always reach.

Supervision

Supervision is more than a requirement, it’s a vital space for reflection, growth, and support. I offer professional supervision to social workers wanting to specialise in mental health and achieve specialist accreditation as AMHSW. Whether you’re looking to deepen clinical skills, explore ethical dilemmas, or prevent burnout, supervision is tailored to your needs and professional context.
My style is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in both therapeutic and social work frameworks. I draw on a mix of approaches —reflective practice, case discussion, critical thinking — to support your development while maintaining a strong focus on self-care.
Supervision is available on a sliding scale ($120-$240 per session) depending on where you are at in your social work career. You may be able to claim these costs as a tax deduction for professional development purposes (please consult with your tax accountant for more specific advice).
To book a supervision session, please submit a query via the contact page — I’d be glad to support your growth as a practitioner.
Specific counselling

Grief Counselling
Grief is something we experience when we lose something important to us – it’s not limited to just death. Grief counselling involves talking about the impact of your loss. It can assist you with processing and making sense of your grief, as well as develop new ways of coping and adjusting to a changed life.

Trauma Counselling
Trauma can impact us in profound ways. Depending on our own vulnerabilities, what is traumatic for one person may not be so distressing for another. If you have been through a traumatic life event, trauma therapy provides a safe space for you to process your trauma and move forward in your life.
